Aerial work platform and construction machinery rental in Levice
Planning aerial work platforms and construction machinery for Levice means allowing for longer preparation than elsewhere. The town in the south of the Nitra region is an energy hub — the surrounding area has generating plants, plus substations and power lines, pipeline construction and the companies that maintain these facilities. Before a machine is allowed on site there, access rules, zoning, documentation and work permits must be in place.
Access, zones, permit — and only then the machine
At energy facilities, the choice of equipment is determined not by demand but by the permit process. Access authorisation for staff and equipment, the division of the site into zones, the required documentation and the written work permit are the responsibility of the plant operator — not the contractor and certainly not the rental company. We can deliver a machine with complete documentation; whether it may enter a particular zone is decided solely by the operator.
This results in a sequence that cannot be reversed. First, you clarify with the operator in which zone work will take place and which requirements apply there — they often concern drive type, exhaust gases, sparking, safety distances and whether isolation is required. Only then can the equipment class be determined. The second consequence is preparation time: access applications, briefings and permits often take several weeks.
Substations, power lines and pipeline construction
In energy and plant construction around Levice, three types of job recur: substations and switchgear with high working points and fixed safety distances; power lines and masts in open terrain on unpaved ground; pipeline construction and maintenance on pipe bridges, fittings and insulation.
For the first and third type, articulating boom lifts with 10.89 to 48.15 m are the standard class, because they reach over plant components and create the required lateral clearance. If height is the main concern, telescopic boom lifts cover 14.00 to 56.90 m. In open terrain, where area and load capacity count, diesel scissor lifts with four-wheel drive and 9.70 to 34.00 m at up to 1,134 kg are the choice; where no support surface can be prepared, spider lifts with 13.00 to 39.50 m take over.
For all three types: the safety clearance to live parts determines the set-up position, and that in turn determines the outreach required. Clearances and any isolation are specified by the plant operator. So please give us the working height and the horizontal distance to the nearest permitted set-up area.
The rental fleet in figures

| Articulating boom lifts | 10.89 – 48.15 m | 150 – 450 kg |
| Telescopic boom lifts | 14.00 – 56.90 m | 227 – 454 kg |

Mechanical engineering, halls and agricultural technology in the city
The second source of demand in Levice lies in the city itself: mechanical engineering and metalworking companies, warehouse and production halls, plus agricultural businesses with silo and storage technology in the surrounding area. Here it is not the approval process that decides but the hall geometry, and lead times are shorter.
In production and warehouse halls, electric scissor lifts with 6.30 to 33.00 m and 227 to 1,000 kg are the workhorse class for lighting, utility lines and crane runway maintenance. In narrow warehouse aisles, high-rack scissor lifts with 18.50 to 33.00 m are used, and in plant rooms the mast lift with 10.00 to 12.65 m.
Telehandlers, excavators and forklifts for Levice
In plant construction as in hall construction, the telehandler handles material lifting without a crane. Fixed models lift 4.30 to 18.80 m at 1.25 to 25 t, roto versions reach 15.42 to 38.90 m all round from a single set-up — on a site with only one approved set-up area often the only practical solution.
Excavators from 1.8 to 30 t operating weight cover cable and pipe trenches, foundations and earthworks. In addition, forklifts from 3 to 16 t and, for unpaved areas, rough-terrain forklifts are available.
Inspection records as a condition of access
On an energy facility, equipment documentation is not an administrative matter in the background but the condition for the machine getting in at all — and Slovak law sets a stricter framework here than German contractors are used to.
Decree MPSVR SR No. 508/2009 Coll. classifies a motor-driven pojazdna pracovna plosina (mobile work platform) with a lift height above 1.5 m as a zdvihacie technicke zariadenie skupiny A (group A lifting equipment) — a designated technical device with official tests (uradne skusky, opakovane uradne skusky) and qualification requirements for operators. In addition, Government Regulation No. 392/2006 Coll., Act No. 124/2006 Coll. and the test standard STN EN 280 apply.
Responsibilities are clearly divided. We supply every machine with a valid inspection record, CE documentation and operating manual — the part you submit with the access application. Everything relating to the facility remains with the operator and the contractor: access authorisation, zoning, safety clearances, isolation, permit to work, risk assessment, instruction and the check before work starts. Some operators require the records in Slovak — clarify this early.
Transport to Levice
We deliver the machines by low-loader to your site — delivery throughout Slovakia. Nitra lies to the west in the same region; jobs in both cities can be scheduled in one run. The delivery date depends on the approved time window, not on construction progress. For maintenance projects lasting several weeks we charge long-term rental rates, and several machines for the same window are scheduled together.
